How lucky are we to live in the coolest city with the most amazing natural spots right in the center of Chicago? I just love finding hidden pockets that let you forget you’re even in Chicago city limits. And the more flowers there the better, I say. Add in some pretty, natural light, and you have a recipe for guaranteed amazing family photographs you’ll cherish forever. And of course I have to include some outtakes! Those always end up being some of my favorites! I’ve been a Chicago family photographer for over 5 years now, and I still find myself surprised by what happens in family sessions! Kids are so funny, sometimes you can’t prompt some of the things they do.

I especially love how mom’s red blouse really pops against these lovely spring greens and coordinates so nicely with her baby girl’s outfit!  All in all, a truly lovely family that was such a joy to work with.
